Comment inserted automatically

When opening in Powerpoint 2003 powerpoint files created by an earlied
version of Powerpoint (2000), a comment is inserted automatically on every
slide, on the top left corner, containing my name.
Is there any way to resolve this problem, i.e. to remove this comment from
all slides ?
 
Try clicking on View, Master, Slide Master and if it's there, remove the
comment from the Slide Master by right clicking on the Comment and left
clicking delete.

Otherwise you'll need to remove the comment from each slide.
 
Unfortunately the inserted comment does not exist on the Slide Master. I
still cannot understand why it has been inserted in the first place. Is it a
bug in Powerpoint 2003 ?

That's always possible, but if it is, it's one we haven't run across here yet.

Can you post the file on the web where some of us might be able to download and
view it?
