comments print order

When printing comments in Powerpoint 2003, comments are grouped by reviewer
and date of comment. Is it possible to have them print in the order they
appear on the slide instead?

Ginger, for me the comments print in the same order as they appear on the
slide (what I do not like at all!).

Maybe we're doing something different or I misunderstood your question.
That's how I did it:

- "Insert / Comment" from two reviewers alternating
- "View / Markups" is active
- Print slides

I get one page with the slide, the next with the comments. The comments are
in the same order as on the slide - if my comments are on the slide neatly
arranged by their number, I will get a fine list from comment 1 to comment
10. But if I drag the comments around and move comment 9 above comment 1,
I'll get a mess on my printout: comment 9, comment 1.

But I do not get a group by reviewer or by date.

I'm not aware of any possibility to change this. Powerpoint seems to base
the printing on the order of the comments, not on their number.

Hmm. I don't think you misunderstood the question at all. It appears
Powerpoint is giving us different output for some reason. There must be a
setting buried in some non-obvious place or some other weird thing that is
causing us both to get a print result we don't want.
