In windows 2000 is there any command like msconfig in
windows 98 / xp. for confi. task bar & other things

There is no msconfig command included with Windows 2000, however you can
copy msconfig from Windows XP and run it on a Windows 2000 box.

You can also download Mike Lin's program "startup control"

It's free and does everything msconfig did in Win98, and as far as I
know, in the XP version. Just right click on the .mis file and choose
install. It will install in the control panel. You can put a shortcut
to it on your desktop. Very handy for getting rid of those annoying
icons in the systray or nag screens....without having to edit the
registry.
