How can I change the default command prompt pointer location? I would
like for the command prompt to point to a specific folder by default
when I open a DOS window.

If you start the command prompt from the Start Menu, you can edit the properties of the shortcut.
Look on the 'Shortcut' tab of the properties dialog & edit the path found under 'Start in:'
