Command not available - Out of Office

I am running MS Outlook 2000 on a Windows XP OS. I have the out of office
assistant turned on and want it off - i try to go into out of office from the
menu and when i click on it i am getting "Command not available - please
refer to your documentation" any ideas that may help would be appreciated.
