I continue to get an error message "16-Bit MS-DOS
subsystem: c:\Winnt\system32\autoexec.nt The system
file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft
Windows applications.

Tried the service pack #2 - did no good. Tried following
the directions in Microsoft Knowledge Base Article -
324767 and did not know how to expand command.com from my
Windows XP CD-ROM.

Can anyone help me???

You can do this with MSCONFIG.EXE. Start MSCONFIG via Start > Run an
click "Expand File".
