Comma, semi-colon placement

I always have trouble with these 2 things and where they go and which one is
correct to use when. Can anyone tell me how to set the grammar checker in
Word for that to be one of the main focuses it checks for?
 
Which placement is "correct" depends on what country you live in, and
whose style guide you follow.
