Combobox to search for data on a subform

Hi everyone

I have a mainform (clients) with a subform (invoice dates and details).
There's a combobox on the mainform and I can use it to find a particular
client and then scroll through his/her invoices.

I'd like to be able to search the other way around i.e. search for invoices
with a particular date and then scroll through the clients who have invoices
on that date.

Can someone tell me how I can do that, or give me a nudge in the right
direction?
