I have a mainform for the supplier name and other supplier form and the
subform for the invoice details.

I want to have alternating row color just on the subform. Can any body tell
me the easiest way to assign alteranting row color for our easy reading. This
could have huge rows. I have asked in this forum that color wil not slow the
performance so I nees to have it

I tried to search this subject in this threads and all is for reports and
forms which have color pickers etc, but I do not want to have it so
complicated like in the sample. I just want it on load the form, we can see
the alternating color in the subform.

Thanks for any idea provided.

It is too complicated Dough, can't we just have an VBA for certain color, say
gray and white only?. We do not need to go to choode color button. Just the
simple one on open the main and sub form, it will show the alternating color
on the detail section of subform

Thanks in advance for additional idea.

You're asking for a simple solution to a very complicated problem, and it
just isn't going to happen! As Doug said, Stephen Lebans' apporoach is about
as simple as it gets. There simply isn't a box to check or a button to push
to male Access do this!
