Combining Clips

Hi everyone, i have a simple question to ask for help about combining clips.
I am new at Movie Maker so when you answer can you please explain in details
for me. Anyway here is my question, when i try to combine video clips, the
option of combine is not on. I hold the CTrl button and click a bunch of
clips and then i right click on the clips (on the storyboard/timeline) . I
saw a combine words but it is not highlited and wouldn't allow me to combine
the clips. So anyone please help me. Please explain step by steps or in
details for me becuase i am new at Movie Maker and trying to learn how it
work. Thank for the help.

The combine option is really like an 'undo' feature.... you can only
re-combine clips that have been previously split, and provided nothings
changed at the ends of the clips being recombined.

If the clips don't meet that criteria, the option will be grayed out.
