COM+ error

This beauty pops up in my Event Viewer:

The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its internal
processing. HRESULT was 800706BA from line 44 of
d:\qxp_slp\com\com1x\src\events\tier1\eventsystemobj.cpp. Please contact
Microsoft Product Support Services to report this error.

Of course, when I go to 'contact Microsoft Product Support' I have to pay
$35 to open a case with them to "report this error." That doesn't seem right
for some reason.

Any ideas? The d:\ drive on this PC is a DVD-ROM drive...

Among other causes, this can happen if the COM+ Event System service is
disabled, like I have it. Can also happen if in Safe Mode and can be
ignored.
