Column Resizing and Pivot Tables

Does anyone out there get frustrated when updating or changing a pivot table
causes all columns in the worksheet to be resized?

Does anyone know how to turn this "resizing" feature off?
 
Set the pivot table to preserve formatting:
On the pivot toolbar, choose PivotTable>Table Options
Add a check mark to 'Preserve formatting', click OK
Remove the check mark from AutoFormat Table
Click OK
