Colours changed

The colours on my desk top and pictures etc have gone really strange, i cant seem to get the back to the way they were, any ideas!
 
I am having the same problem. I got on my computer today and all the colors are screwed up. In control panel it won't go above the lowest resolution and is using 4-bit color. I need help badly. Is this a virus or what should i do?? Did you ever figure it out?? Please someone help me

Reinstall the video adapter drivers. The latest versions should be
available for download from the chip or card manufacturer's WEBsite.

If you are unfamiliar with this process, try enlisting help from someone
who is.
