Colour schemes

In Powerpoint 2002 if I delete all but one colour scheme am I deleting
schemes for the current open presentation or the current and future
presentations?
Are they deleted from the Powerpoint program permanently or just the saved
slide file?

Is it possible to have text in the slide footer automatically filled in from
the slide title or other field or alternately the saved name of the slide
set?

Thanks

Re: the first part of your question: The color schemes are specific to the
presentation - so you won't lose them for other or future presentations. It's
OK to delete them.

Thanks Sandy For your answer back on the first issue.

Any idea's regarding the second question?

In PPT you have to use code to add the file path and name to the footer, so
I suspect the same would be necessary to fill it in with information from
the slide title. But perhaps this will get you started, anyway.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/222797/en-us It should let you fill in the
file name at least.

That's great. Thanks Echo S. Just what I was looking for.

Thanks again.
