colour on screen

their is no red in the colour of my screen.what can i do
to correct it?
 
Check that the monitor cable is securely connected at both ends. Most
likely a fault in the monitor causing the red gun in the CRT to be cut off.
May be as simple as a dry solder joint or as serious as a faulty CRT. Take
it to a good TV engineer.

Should have also said to check the advanced settings in screen properties
just in case someone has turned the red way down.
