Colour of background in display pane when using Internet Explorer

I recently played with various settings on my PC. As a result the font size,
screen size and background colour changed in IE and when using MSN Messenger.
I have since upgraded to IE7 and the screen and font sizes appear to have
recovered. However, the background colour remains a white colour and the text
on the web pages is in different colours.

When I completed the meddling to settings, I used a facility that I'd never
seen before - it gava a huge list of different settings and I'm not certain
was accessed through Display Properties. I have been through most of the mods
from here to no avail.

Someone suggested I had changed various Java settings but how would I have
accessed those.

Is there a simple explanation or corrective software or can I trace through
the Event Viewer

Hello, James.

This may help:

Open up an IE browser:
- Go to Tools > Internet Options.
- On the General Tab, click on Colors
- If the Use Windows Colors is not checked, then that's the problem. Check
it and click ok.

That should solve it. I hope this helps. Thanks.
