Colour (color) problems

Good Morning all,
I am unable to get any colour (color) commands to work in Excel 2003.
Can't colour Tabs, fonts or cells. Never had this problem before any
help appreciated.

Have you been in Windows|control panel|accessibility options|display tab

Do you have "Use high contrast" checked?

Turns out that people play with those settings much more than you would think.
