Colors on Screen Looks Funny???

Hello, here is my problem.
I recently acquired a laptop (Dell Inspiron 3000-used) and installed Windos
98 on it. All was well until I noticed on the screen that all the letter and
pictures looked funny, so I went into "display properties" and then into the
"settings" tab and then looked down to see that the colors were only 16-bit.
Is there any way I can change that to 32-bit or better? I also noticed that
the "screen area" was at 640 by 480 pixels and can not be moved more than
that by my mouse.I'm not sure if all this is the problem for my screen
looking badly colored, but I hjope it helps in solving the problem. I'd
greatly appreciate the help. :)

Arlene:
Sounds like you need to install the correct video drivers for your laptop.
Ask the person you bought the laptop from if they have them. If not, check
with Dell support.

You need to install the proper video drivers. Go to Dell's site and find
the drivers for your particular laptop.
