Color will not print

My HP 810C printer will not print color, just black and
white. I tried a new color ink cartridge and resetting
the cartridge and looked through the printer help. No
results. HELP! I need to print my XMAS picture/letter

It could be that one of your relatives who is sick and
tired of your Christmas letters prayed a fervent prayer
that something would happen to your printer that would
prevent you from boring the crap out of him yet again. If
this is the case, you might want to try a counter-prayer,
but as it seems that Christmas newsletters are diabolically
inspired I wouldn't count on it being heard. If your
printer suddenly and inexplicably starts working again on
December 26, you have your answer.

Margaret, while the other person is probably right..
What did you do to try and print it? Did you go to
File>Print>Preferences>Paper/Quality or some other way of
making sure Color mode is selected?
What happens when you print a TEST PAGE from Control
Panel>Printers>Right-click Properties of your
Printer>General Tab> Print Test Page? If a Test Page
doesn't print colo, it is possible that since you have a
new color cartridge that you have a bad color print head,
unless your type of cartridges include the print head.

I'm having the same problem with the lack of color
printing with my HP 970 Cse. Have you figured out a
solution yet? I'd appreciate any help.
