color settings

I have w2k server installed in pc A and w2k3 installed in pc B. The color setting for w2k3 in B is set to 32 bit. When I connect to B from A using remote desktop, the color setting of B is 16 bit. When I connect to B from A using Terminal Service, the color setting of B is only 8 bit. And it doesn't allow me to change. How can I solve this problem? Thank

(I tried to connect to another w2k machine from A, it has correct color setting of 256 colors.)

Hello,

This is because Windows 2000 uses 256 color (8 bit) for terminal services
connections, but Windows Server 2003 uses high color (16 bit). This is
unrelated to the actual color depth you have set on the server when at the
console.
