Color Quality

When I turn on WIN XP the color quality is set at 8 bits. I then set it to 32 bits, apply it and check OK. It works fine after that but when I have to turn off WIN XP and turn it back on later it reverts to 8 bits. When I reset it again to 32 bits, apply it and check OK it again works fine until I turn it off again. Is there anyway I can lock in 32 bit quality color.

Have you gone to the website for your video card maker and installed the
lastest drivers according to their docs?
