Color problem - HTML/Rich Text

I have a user who is having a problem with color schemes. We have changed
the color of the WIN2000 appearance so that the background is navy blue and
the foreground (text) is white. However, when a user receives an email that
is HTML/Rich Text, the HTML/Rich Text overrides the users colors ...
consequently, black appears as black on the screen rendering the email
unreadable. For the time being, I suggested she ctrl + A to select the
email so she can read it, but we are looking for a long term solution.

Is there a method to override the senders font colors on the user's end?

No, you can't override the sender's font colors.
