Color Printing problem

Having problems with color printing. Yellow bars print across colored text,
but not black and white text on page. Have gone through troubleshooting,
cleaned, realigned cartridges, checked settings without success. When
prinint photos yellow bars print across entire picture. Whats up?

Done the printer self-test pages? Configuration pages?
(In other words - taken the computer out of the picture.)

Have you downloaded/installed the latest driver from the printer
manufacturer's web page?

What happens if you open Notepad and type in some multi-colored text -
bolded, larger fonts, many colors - and printed it..?
