color of comment balloons

I have one comment balloon in purple while all others are in a pinkish color.
How can you change the color of the comment balloons? Not the text, the
background color of the balloon.

I'm guessing the purple comment was inserted by a different author than the
other comments? If so, click on Tools | Options | Track Changes | Color:
<choose a color other than "By author"> | OK.

Dear garfield-n-odie,

Really appreciate your efforts to help Microsoft users. I have a little
extra requirements.

First requirement goes like this:
1. After inserting a comment for the selected text, that particular text
will have background color similar to the baloon color. Is there any way to
have different background color for the selected text?

Second requirements is:
2. Once we select a particular color in Tools | Options | Track Changes,
this color is being applied to baloons of all the users. I want to have my
own colors for each users.

Thanks in advance

Thanks Suzanne,

2. Actually, that way word puts its own colors for the baloons of different
users, I am looking for a way where I can force the color of baloons, say
always "RED" for usera and always "BLUE" for userb.

If you choose By Author, different colors will be used for each user, but
you have no choice of colors, and they will be different for a given user on
different machines.
