color and screen resolution

system was working well. Upgrade a program caused color qulity to be lowest (4 bit) and resolution to 640 by 48
Settings do not offer other options. Windows offer to correct when restart but does not. Any ideas?
 
Hi amtoms,

Try reinstalling the video adapter drivers and see if that corrects the
problem.
