Collect Data via Email

I want to use the collect data via email functionality in access to gather
simple answers to survey questions. My problem is that the survey questions
are too lengthy (150 characters) and I can't get access to let me use the
question as the field name in my table or as the label to display in front of
the field in the email message.

Is there a way to get around this (infopath is not an option)?

Thanks

This looks good, however the recipients of the survey wont have Access on
their computers. I liked the functionality to collect data through email
since the recipients would only need to have an html supported email.

Is there some type of workaround to have longer questions (greater than 64
characters) while using this new function in Access 2007?

Thanks.

I haven't worked with the survey by e-mail yet, but as far as I'm aware,
you're essentially creating a form that can populate the database. You
design the form for the "proper application" (so that the questions are NOT
field names) and distibute that form.

That would be great if I could actually design a form as the base of this
"collect data through email" functionality. I've been trying to do just that
with no luck. It seems that I have to base this directly on a table (herein
lies my trouble with the length of my questions). So far the only I've found
to use this function is by right clicking a table I want my responses to go
into, then selecting the option to "collect and update data via e-mail".
After this I run through a 5 step wizard that creates a generic form that is
inserted into an email. It doesnt seem that I can modify the form at all
while using the html functionality (not using InfoPath).

I'm still hoping I'm missing something and this can be done.

Thanks.
