Collapsible Text in Email?

I am writing a fairly lengthy email to a person, and I don't want to seem
like a windbag when they open the email. I was thinking that it would be
great if there was some way to create a collapsible text in this email,
similar to how text can be collapsed in Word in the Outline view.

I've done searches and haven't really found anything useful. I'm assuming
this is not possible, but I thought I would check here as a last result.

I don't think you can, even if you could, you can't control how your
recipient will read it (and if they have any sense, they will do so in
plain-text mode)

I guess you could send them the Word doc.
