I have searched high and low for the past couple weeks and have not been able to find an answer to this.
I have a large document which I am constantly updating and it has hyperlinks in it. I use headings so when I insert hyperlinks I select bookmark and it brings up a list of all the different headings. the problem is that this is expanded by defauls showing hundreds of different entries that I have to scroll through to find the right one. I'm pretty sure there is an option to change the default to collapsed because the copy I have at work is collapsed by default. At work I use Word 2000, I was using Word 2000 at home and decided to upgrade to 2007. At home I have the problem with either version.
If anyone knows where the option to make bookmarks collapsed by default is, I would greatly appreciate any insight. Thanks
