file header and return the play time in minutes/seconds ?

I have definately seen someone from Microsoft do it on a site such as
gotdotnet, or even msdn, unfortunately I do not have that link.

This is really nice code, and shouldnt be too hard to convert, if the
one in vb.net shows up, ill be sure to post

That did the trick ! I didn't even have to convert it to vb.net, just
compiled a DLL and included it in my vb.net project. Many thanks to you,
it worked like a charm.
