Code 10

Question
Windows XP home edition
I have a removable hard drive which is plug and play and was working fine,
now whenever i try to re-connect it I get a (code10 cannot start device)
error message in the device manager list with a yellow triangle and black !
mark on it. Any solutions most welcome.

I've had the same problem all year. No fixes yet.

I think microsoft have a hotfix for the problem but you have to pay for it until
they release it on a service pack update .

you still have to contact them buy phone or email which is charged at £34.00
minimum !!!! I call that paying for it .
