Every time I try to get Defender Definitions Update this error code occurs.
Has someone an idea? I Use Vista Ultimate. Thanks in advance

I'm not sure there's enough WSUS expertise in this newsgroup for that
question to be resolved in here, you might try googling and/or contacting
your WSUS update distribution server local IT administrator since that
seems to be through which you get your WD updates, along with this
explaination which unfortunately is totally incomprehensible to a home user
like myself. SOAP to me means like Dial or Zest, sorry...

I'm not sure whether Dave M's leap here is correct or not. Can you say more
about what kind of network your machine connects to? Is this a home
machine, or one in a larger institution or corporation?

If you update via Windows Update, are Windows Defender definitions offered
and installed?
