COA only for OEM XP Pri

Hi:

I have a small problem. I got what I thought was a good
deal on a box of miscellanious computer stuff. One of the
items was Office XP pro (OEM Version) and since I had
Office home I thought I would use it to upgrade. It did
not have an option to upgarade so I said new install.
when it came time to enter the product code I had the
wrong number. There was a number on a sticker on the
package but as it turns out it was from the top portion of
the COA and not the correct number to enter. Now I have no
OS and need to purchase some thing fast. I really do not
want to pay alot because I really did not plan to change
my OS. I got the box of part for next to nothing and had
no plans to upgrade it. It just seem like the thing to do
when I found the disk in the box. Now I need the cheepest
fix I can find. If I understand right I will need a COA
for OEM XP Pro. I have seen COA for sell. The sticker
only no software. Right now my system wants me to enter
the COA number. If I purchase a true COA for OEM XP Pro
will my computer accept the number and finish the
install?????

Steve;
Do you mean windows XP?
Office XP is an office suite and not an operating system.
First verify exactly what you have, an office suite or an OS.
It may work., but any guarantee you get can only come from the seller.
How much do you trust the seller?
