cmd.exe problem

everytime I turn on my computer the cmd.exe propmt
constantly opens up and closes, over and over. The only
thing I've noticed is that it stops when I get online. I
haven't installed anything new since before it started
happening. Note: this is not a major problem, its just
really annoying.

1 GHZ emonster
380 mb SDRAM
64mb NVIDIA Geforce 2 MX400

What does a scan using a current antivirus program (with updated
definitions) show?

I don't show anything after a completed and updated virus
scan. I'm using Norton Pro 2003
