I am trying to format my drive with NTFS and a cluster
size of 64K, but i cannot do it from the prompt within XP
because it says the "volume is in use", and the boot disks
dont have the allocation size as an option. Suggestions?

The optimal NTFS cluster size for Windows XP is 4KB. A 64KB cluster size
is not recommended as it is wasteful and will cause excessive fragmentation.
