Closing Ports

Help. I have someoned accessing my computer without my
consent. i truned off sharing via my PC< and
netwrok/internet connections. Can i close a port too?
Please please help!!!!
 
Install a personal firewall such as Zone Alarm, Tiny,
Kerio, McAfee, or Norton.
