Is there a key command to close

the active folder?

all open folders?

Or can an F key be programmed to do so?

Thanks you

Thanks both - anything to close all open folders at once, not that it is
really important.

Try the following:

Hold down the CTRL key and using the left mouse key, click all of the
folders in the task bar,
Then use the right key to click on one of them, and click CLOSE.
