Closing down

Since loading XP home edition I cannot turn computer off.

When I click 'Turn Off' the computer restarts.

Any ideas.

Hello!Max!
At first you disable the automatic restarts.To do this:-
Start >Right click on"My Computer" >Properties > Advanced > Settings
under Startup and Recovery > uncheck Automatically restart under System
failure > ok > Reboot.
