Hi there
Is there a way of closing all open windows (not just
within an application) with a keyboard shortcut? Can't
find it in the help. Thanks!

while not closing then, the WINDOWS+M key
combination will minimise all of them to the task
bar

CLOSEALL....
Nor exactly what you want but it will
close all open windows with one click.

Once downloaded create a shortcut
to it and place it in your Programs/Start folder
and set it's properties to minimized.
On your next boot you will see a "X " icon
in your System tray.

I would not do without it.

Hi kdj,

AFAIK, there is not a shortcut in Windows that can close all open windows. What you
can do is hold down the CTRL key and click each program button on the taskbar, and
then right-click one of the selected buttons and click Close.
