Closing A Window

Just Recently...Whenever I Open A New Window and close it ALL windows Close.
I never had this problem b4 this week. How Can I correct the problem and keep
my original window open?

I'm not usually very computer savvy, But after days of trying to figure out
the problem. I think that I have resolved the problem. I Dissabled A yahoo
Add-On and it seems to have corrected the problem. Thanks for your response.
