closing a cd-rw

I just put a couple of pics on a cd-rw and now i can't eject the disc. it says something about copying the files but it all ends up in a dead end. can anyone help

I suggest shutting down the programs and rebooting your computer. It
will likely trash the disk (reformat should take care if it, but assuming
you have all the original files, that should work.
