Closes on startup???

When I open IE, it closes right away! My homepage doesn't even load. The window opens and just closes after about 2 seconds! My Windows updates are current and so are my virus definitions. I'm running Windows XP and IE6. Any ideas? I'd really appreciate any help anyone can give! Thanks!

Parasites?

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

and:

SpyBot-S&D
http://security.kolla.de/

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
