I think they're wrong: CloseIEx website says "license: shareware (fully
functional) (for 30 days trial).

IMHO they just see the update and not the license modify.

I have 2.6.05 (registerware, but still free) in rareware section of my Mole
Zone (url in signature).

I guess you are right. It is a shame the program went that way but the
developer needs to get paid too.
