close button and Office

Close,minimize and restore buttons are smaller.Does anyone know how to
rectify this?
Also when Iopen Office new document just displays.Want it to show main
task page eg.Blank document,writing a letter,fax etc.where you click on what
you want.

Hi Peter,

Right click on the Desktop and select Properties.
Click on the Appearance tab - Advanced button.
Under Item select Caption Buttons. The default size is 25.
Save and close.
