cloning

The Powerquest tools (Drive Image) are IMHO the best, although fairly
costly. v5 onward will clone WinXP NTFS/FAT32 so long as it's a standard
IDE/SATA disk of less than 137GB.

After cloning, run Sysiinternals' NewSID jut to be sure. (Though we did a
fairly exhaustive test on one W2000 domain, and couldn't see any difference
in permissions before/after changing the SIDs)

Forgot to mention that Powerquest have been swallowed-up, so a new licence
might or might not be possible, I'm not sure about that. :-(
