Hi,

I have an XP embedded master image prepared and would like to clone it now.
The image needs to be deployed to 1000+ machines. I am using a 512mb compact
flash disk.

I have tried to take an image of the system using Ghost 6.5.1 but get the
following error. "NTFS Error : Error Reading FILE_VOLUME MFT record"

And using Ghost Ver 9.0 I get the following error "Not enough room on device
for image headers (519)"

Q1. Has anyone come across this problem before?

Q2. Is there a better tool out there for duplicating CF cards?

Cheers,
Rob

I copy the image to CF with True Image 8.0. The CF is connected to the PC
with an "CF to IDE" Adapter. I had no problems with this.

Yes, like GE said, you have to connect CF to computer us "CF to IDE"
adapter, don't use USB port, we use ghost2003, we never had problem ghost
image into CF.

Linux and DD. Isn't that Ironic? No formatting, no partitioning, just copy
over image.

I should have said a flash IDE disk instead of compact flash.

I get an error running True Image "Ide2: ports already in use, skipping probe"

I am booting from a USB CD/DVD drive with Acronis True Image 8.0
