Is it possible to clone a user on a given Win 2000 system.
I'd like to define a user that has exactly the same settings, including the
desktop, installed programs and task bar icons, as another user.
----------------------
Copy the hidden ntuser.dat file between the user profile folders
- You can't copy a profile folder while it is in use, so do so while logged
in with a 3rd account
- Have the user log in, then change the ntuser.dat file (so that they have
a profile path).
OR, you can change the profile path in the user's properties to use the
copied profile (which will take effect on first login)
If your goal is to have both profiles REMAIN the same, you should change
both user's profile paths to point to the same ntuser.dat file
- You can then rename the file to ntuser.man to make it read-only
("man"datory)
