clone functional XP Embedded

P

Pedro Pinheiro

I need to clone an XP Embedded image, after installing some software
that is very time consuming.

I can clone before installing that software, using the clone component
of XPE, but i get an error when i try cloning after installing the
software.

I get an error that files are corrupted.

Any idea how to clone it?

Thanks in Advance,

Pedro Pinheiro

Have you checked the disk space after the cloneing operation witht the
software? I am sorry I could be of much help, but I think we need more
inofrmtaion on this issue to reporduce it in lab.

No problem,

I'm using a CF with 4Gb, but only using a partition of 3.6Gb, so the
rest can be used by efwmgr.

I have checked the disk space and i didn't get no error.

I'm using DriveImage XML to clone it.

Using this software i didn't get any error when using "System Cloning
Tool", and the proceders describe in http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms912854.aspx,
and i can deploy several images of it without any problem.

But i need to install some software after the booting, and that is
very time consuming. I tried to clone after the install but i get an
error that files are corrupted and missing.

Any idea how to clone it?
