Clock is always wrong.

Everyday I change my clock to the correct time and by the
end of the day it's always off by at least 40 minutes.
I've tried to synchronize over the internet and that
didn't work either. Can anyone give some advice?

The battery only keeps the time when the computer is turned off. If
this is a Dell computer, go to http://www.dell.com to search for a
fix.
