I am having a problem with the date & clock on my taskbar. 1- it seems to have moved to the top line part of the taskbar. 2 when I click on the time, and the date box comes up the first dialog box should be the month, but it contains all "1" the calander appears ok though, displaying June 2004 and todays date highlighted. The next problem is probably associated with this one. In outlook, all my emails incomming, sent and saved ones all of a sudden do not show any date whatsoever. Any help from anyone would be appreciated

Something to try,
1st, move the mouse down to the task bar and drag the double arrow down to
lower the task bar to its single bar width.unless you want the double width
bar.

2nd, go to the control panel into the Regional Language Options
select Customize and click the Time tab.
(select the small case size unless you want 24 hr time displayed)
Time format, select - h:mm:ss:tt
next
click the date tab
In the short date format, select - M/d/yyyy
In the long date format, select - dddd,MMMM dd,yyyy

Apply and OK

You can put the XP CD in the CD ROM and go to start > run > cmd

And type in the command prompt
sfc /scannow (press enter) (note the space between the c and the
forward slash)

This will repair and replace any missing or damaged system files.

Good luck

You need to right click on the task bar, and see if a check mark is in front
of - Lock Task bar, if it is, click again to remove the mark and then you
should be able to shorten the task bar with the double arrow.

Roger's post is an excellent way to cure problems.

Good Luck,
Jerry
