clips

Definately a newb here...when I captured about six minutes of video off my
camera, it came into WMM as a whole series of clips. Why did it do this? And
it was saved as a "collection" even though I thought it asked for a
filename--singular.

Can I play the whole thing (it's a WMV) in Windows MediaPlayer or must I
combine all these clips?

In Movie Maker when you go to...
"File / Import into collections"
you will see your "Import File" screen...
if you want a single clip...uncheck
the box..."Create clips for video files".

If you drag all the clips to your timeline
and go to...File / Save Movie File...they
will be combined.

Actually if you select them all and hit CTRL+M on your keyboard they will be
combined.
